About Me

Molly.jpgI was born and raised in rural New Richmond, Wisconsin. Self-proclaimed “The City Beautiful,” this town consists mostly of farmland and considers “Drive Your Tractor to School Day” vital to a quality education. Pining for something bigger, I began studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014.

Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in Journalism with a double track in reporting and strategic communications. My Grandma says I have a way with words and my first crush was on the Channel 11 News Anchor. These two facts alone brought me to this career path. I’ve gained experience in the field through rigorous course work and writing for The Daily Cardinal, The Dish and Moda magazine, all of which are student-run publications on campus. Additionally, I am a member of the UW-Madison Advertising Club where I have gained experience creating print advertisements for non-profit organizations on campus.

In my free time, I enjoy running outside and perfecting my chocolate chip cookie recipe.

I am currently looking for an internship for the summer of 2017 with a focus in magazine writing or publishing.
